Junior High

At St. Nicholas-St. Mary School, our Junior High program, designed for 6th through 8th graders, provides a challenging and supportive environment to prepare students for high school and beyond. In keeping with our Catholic values, students study Religion, Math, English Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. Our departmentalized structure allows for specialized instruction in each subject area, ensuring that students receive focused, high-quality learning experiences. To cater to individual academic needs, Math and ELA are tracked, offering both regular and accelerated sections.

In addition to core academic subjects, students enrich their education with classes in Music, Art, Physical Education, and an Introduction to Spanish, which foster well-rounded development. Beginning in seventh grade, students have the opportunity to participate in junior high sports at Holy Redeemer, including football, cross-country, soccer, field hockey, baseball, softball, and track and field. This robust combination of academic rigor, extracurricular activities, and faith formation helps our students grow into confident, capable individuals ready to succeed in high school and beyond.

Our Math and English-Language Arts classes are tracked to meet our students needs. Students will be placed in either the regular track, or the accelerated track based on ability.
